Christmas in Innsbruck!

It's Christmas time in Innsbruck!! It's such an amazing time of year in Europe with all the lights, the Christmas Markets, and ROASTED CHESTNUTS!! My favourites!!! mmm.  So the first thing we did once we arrived downtown, was head straight to the "heisse maroni" (roasted chestnut) stand!

They were everything I had hoped for!!

Brigitte and I cruised around and did some Secret Santa shopping for a couple of hours, and took in all the beautiful scenery in Innsbruck.

Every building is so unique and detailed!

And of course, the "Golden Roof."  Rumour is that one of those bricks is solid gold....

More Christmas Markets in the city square, and a HUGE Christmas tree in front of the Golden Roof!

After tons of shopping, we got a hold of a cart and lugged our bags back to the train station.

After stashing our bags in a luggage safe, we headed back into town for dinner!

Austrian Thai was DELICIOUS!!!   And all the lights guided us home!

BACK on the train with TOO MUCH STUFF!!

And the cart appeared on the train too!!! Ha! Random.... we didnt bring it on!!! Some crazy kids did.  But it was as though the cart was stalking us....

Fun times in Innsbruck....

The rest of these are from ITALY!!! ALl my DNF's led me to some extreeme boredom in the lodge!!

Playing with Kinder Surprises!!

YEAH BRI!!

Bri on the podium with Marlies Schild! Pretty sweeet!
