RAIN, SNOW, ART, and SLACKING.

SOLDEN!
Yesterday, despite all the rumours of the horrible conditions in Solden, we actually got a really great day on snow!  It was awesome to be back on skis and bashing some plastic!
Unfortunately, today when we woke up it was POURING rain.  The coaches called off skiiing because of dangerous roads, so we have been sitting around watching movies, reading books, playing guitar hero and taking pictures....  I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to share some of the "interesting" artwork that covers the walls of our hotel.

I am not an art expert, but these paintings and sculptures definitely catch our eyes and give us something to talk/laugh about....  Waking up with Shona beside me and sketchy paintings on the wall is interesting ...

Brydon nicely donated a bra to the lovely painting in her room...

we decided to clear our heads and go see what was really going on outside!

CANT WAIT TO GET BACK ON NORMAL SNOW! SOOOO EXCITED!! hahaha

SHONA, ROB and I played SAFELY with helmets, on our neighbor's snowy slackline.  Tres exciting

Anyway, I guess Snow is a positive thing despite not getting to ski on it today.

Hopefully tomorrow the sun will come out, and we will continue to have some sweet days on snow before the RACE, and maybe even some fresh pow!?

Until then, we will be diverting our eyes from the walls, slacking safely and hitting the gym to kill some time until the sun is shining.
