Queenstown to Christchurch drive.....

I was bored on the drive from Queenstown the Christchurch yesterday so I took a bunch of pics through a dirty window.  New Zealand is such a beautiful country and I'm sad to leave it again but I'm really happy with the camp and how healthy and strong I feel on and off snow.  NOW.....

i'm on FIJI time!!!!!! no internet for the next 5 days because I'll be getting my TAN back!

We woke up to THIS a couple days ago..... (Mp thinks this picture is lame....) sorry.

 The hill was closed, Queenstown shut down... and we slept in and went for a BIG breakfast!!!!

 had some snowball fights.........

 Checked out the candy shop!

 And hung out with some local snowmen....

 After two days of intense snowstorms and sleep-ins we finally got back on the hill today!! The ruts were INTENSE!!

 After riding some ruts and getting some pretty good slalom training in, we had a PHOTOSHOOT! MP et Mitch above Queenstown and the Lake Wakatipu?.

 And then we had a 360 photoshoot!!!!!!

It's nice and sunny again and the snow is getting harder thanks to our coaches WATERING the whole hill tonight!! The last three days should be sweet!!

We've had epic weather for the last 3 weeks and today it unfortunately changed! It's DUMPING!!

We've had some awesome days of slalom and GS training up until now, and we're taking a day or two off to avoid the bad weather and rest up!  Here are a couple pics from the last few days!

 This morning was a little different. The clouds had arrived and a storm was looming...

And then we had an autograph session with the local racer kids! SKI FAST! GIVER.

There were some cool reflections going on last night with the pond and the night-skiing lights at the hill.... it was hard to get a sweet picture of since I had no tripod and it was really dark....BUT it was cool, so I hope this will do!

I'm excited not to wake up in the 5's tomorrow and have a relaxing day off!!

Day off!

Today my team and Marco's team both had days off so we hung out and chilled and PLAYED TENNIS!

Here are a few more sunrise pics from today.  It's so beautiful here and our weather has been amazing! Slalom today on "race arena" was pretty intense and icy but with each run I get more and more comfortable on it! I'm starting to feel like myself again out there! it's fun!
